I started working at the age of 16. I joined Catermax as a waiter doing weddings and events. I also took a second waitering job at Radisson. I spent 18 months doing this, and despite the long working hours, I look back and smile as it’s where everything started for me. It’s where I really improved my confidence and learned more about responsibility.
I started at Aspire Global when I was 18, as a Customer Support Agent for the UK market. I had to learn quickly, talking to customers on chats, over email and over the phone, but I certainly improved by customer service skills – and I loved the sales element. I’ve exceeded every KPI target that I was given! Which led to some great rewards including a Yacht trip around Malta!
After 10 months, I got the opportunity to join the VIP department. Eight months later, I became a Shift Manager, for the Customer Service & VIP Departments. Then I became the VIP Sales Team Leader for the Karamba brand, before becoming the Karamba Casino CRM Manager, which is where I am today.
Ultimately what the iGaming industry gives you is opportunity – and lots of it!
